4. Orders, changes and cancellation
All orders, alterations to guest numbers, meal plan amendments, and cancellation schedules are governed by your specific written service agreement. Any requested change to meal counts or menus must be delivered within the notice periods specified in that agreement to allow our kitchen to procure ingredients and allocate staff. Cancellations made outside the agreed notice window may incur charges to cover already procured provisions and operational preparation. We cannot offer refunds or reductions for reductions in guest headcounts communicated after the agreed cut-off thresholds.
5. Payment
Terms of payment, billing intervals, deposit requirements, and credit limits are defined strictly within the written agreement for your service. We issue formal tax invoices complying with applicable Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislation. Payment must be remitted by electronic bank transfer or approved commercial payment methods within the credit period stated on each invoice. Overdue payments may attract interest at statutory rates. Failure to adhere to payment schedules may result in immediate suspension of catering deliveries or kitchen operations.
6. Food safety and allergens
We operate under stringent hygiene practices in our centralised kitchen and on-site canteens, preparing food with reasonable skill and professional care. You or your organisation must notify us in writing of all known severe food allergies and special dietary restrictions before service commences. Because our kitchens process multiple grains, dairy products, nuts, and spices concurrently, we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment. Guests with severe or life-threatening allergies must exercise their own discretion. We disclaim liability for adverse reactions where full written disclosures were not provided in advance.
7. Intellectual property
All content published on this website, including text, layout designs, wordmarks, and the “Mera Khana” brand name, is the property of Mera Khana LLP and protected by Indian copyright and trademark laws.
